Default Fished below Normandy Dam

What a great day for shaking off the lows of winter and going fishing. Took my 3wt and waded the Duck River below Normandy Dam here in Middle Tennessee. Only got to fish for a little over two hours but caught four rainbow. Smallest an eight incher and the largest a little over 12 inches. Just what I needed to get the juices flowing.
Planning on coming to the Smokies later this month or the middle of April. Would appreciate guidance/suggestions on the best time.
