Smile 3 days on the SoHo

Just had three days of enjoyable fishing on the South Holston. We saw enough insect activity to keep it real interesting. Even yesterday when we saw no bug activity on the stretch we were on, it was still interesting. To me, the fish were obviously midging even though you strained to see any in the air, much less on the water. Fun afternoon. Friday the BWO's were very consistent and then Saturday they were joined by some big sulphurs. I don't think I have ever seen sulphurs on another stream this early in the year. No big fish were caught, just some decent size browns and rainbows. Looking foward to going back.
