Default Caney Fork July 3

Spent a couple hours on the local tailwater this afternoon. Basically had the place to myself. If any of you have never fished the Caney on a weekday, you're missing out.

Fished the falling water and the fishing was excellent. Hooked into several large fish today. Tiny black midges are working well right now.

Very nice! Wish I could have made it down there... The fish are looking so healthy this year, hopefully they'll keep the constant generation pulses going. I think its doing great things for the river...

Yeah the river seems to be in great shape. I think some of the fish are still fat from that huge shad kill.

Trevor, I'd trade a day on the Caney for a day in the park anyday. Otherwise, Nashville is great.

When are you guys heading to Jellystone?
