Default Sunday Evening on Little River

This past Sunday my Uncle, nephew and I fished Little River. The fishing was very good. We all caught several fish. My uncle caught many fish in the 7 to 10 inch range. His 2 best fish were 12 and 14 inches. All his fish were caught on a #12 peacock body nymph.

My nephew had good luck on a #10 Male Adam. He also caught several fish. His fish randed in the 8 to 10 inches. All the fish he caught were Rain bows. However he did hook a large Brown that gave him a good fight, but like all fish tales the big one got away.

I fished with a large peacock body crow fly. A #6 hook with lots of weight. The fly produced some good fish. I caught all rainbows. The fish were all in the 8 to 10 inch range. I did hook a big rainbow, I got the fish to the top of the water before the fly came lose. I was hopping to hook into a monster Brown. I had no luck with the Browns but thats fine I'll try again this weekend.
This was one of the best days I have had on Little River sence the Spring.

To every one that reads this may the Good Lord Bless you and good luck fishing. John 3:16
