I decided to upload all of my pics to photobucket and create a new photo album so that anyone who wants to can access all of the pics I took this past Sunday. I also created 4 slide shows there with image titles for those who don't immediately recognize the locations.
There are 3 pages of pics. The first page you log into should have three slide shows on it in addition to the pics. The first of the slide shows - in the chronological order they were shot - is in the middle of the second page of pics. So you have a choice of either viewing each image by clicking on it, or finding the slide shows and launching them. Simply go to: http://s236.photobucket.com/albums/ff151/Gerry_Romer/ Just scroll down to view the albums. The side shows are titled: West Prong, Drought II, Drought III and Drought IV. Hope this works for all of you. Enjoy... Gerry Last edited by Gerry Romer; 08-28-2007 at 09:26 PM.. Reason: jeffnles1 is smarter than me. |

Gerry,
Thanks for sharing the pictures. That is sad and scary. The mountains are dying of thirst. I hope the thirst is soon quenched.

Gerry,
I would encourage you to edit your original post and not put your user name and password on the public forum. You can edit out your username passsword and replace with the below link. You can share your photo album through this link: http://s236.photobucket.com/albums/ff151/Gerry_Romer/ that will give people "read only" access to your album and not allow them to alter it in any way which full access with your user name and pass word would allow someone to do. Again, it's just never a good idea to post user names and passwords on a public forum, even one that is among friends. I hope this helps you. |

Done. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate what you said, but, of course that was a dummy account I set up just for those pics.

Gerry, would you mind if I post one or two of your pictures on my blog? They really show how bad things are...

By all means, help yourself. Now that I've changed access, we'll have to figure out how to get 'em to you. If you've retained my original post with access instructions no problem. If you can get 'em off photobucket, have at it. Do you need me to email you the original access info?? Let me know. |

I had decided, on Sunday, to concentrate on my favorite fishing holes...
After I got enough shots of them, I headed up Lynn Camp Prong to the Cascades. A few shots from the top... The quiet overlook... ![]() A shot of the stream immediately below the Cascades... ![]() A couple shots looking down on the Cascades from the quiet overlook above.. ![]() ![]() Can't tell much from this, but it really is a shot of rain at the Cascades... ![]() I had only gone a few yards farther up the trail from the Cascades when it started to rain. I was trying to get some shots of the skinny water in the stream above the Cascades when it started briefly thundering and nicely raining. Couldn't get any really decent shots of the stream at that point so I headed back down and tried for one last shot of the Cascades in the rain. Gerry |

what can i say--you have made me a believer---the streams seem placid and starved--there is a strangness that relates to the sadness of folks, who overlook a battlefield, not long after the battle is completed.
