The proposed slot limit on the Clinch is: Anglers would be allowed keep seven fish, but none 14 to 20 inches long and only one more than 20 inches.

If only one fish above 20" can be kept, all the others that could be removed would have to be less than 14". I'm not sure how big most of the stocked fish are in the Clinch, but if a fish survived to a size of 14", then it could grow to at least 20" before being taken out (legally).

So the slot limit would protect the medium sized fish from harvesting and only allow one 20"+ fish to be taken at a time. More big fish! Assuming they make it to 14"

After catching 6-10" fish in the park on a 3wt, I'm not sure I'd know what to do with a 20" trout...
