Default yuk bug

I need a yuk bug recipe. I like the ones at the shop. I am looking on line at recipes and they do not use the same hackle as the one I bought at the shop. Or, if you can just tell me if the hackle used on the shop yuk bugs are molted hen or badger hackle. Thanks for your help.

Default Hackle

The yuk bugs we have here at the shop are tied using a variety of different hackles depending on the company we got them from. Any large and or webby hackle will work. Strung rooster saddles can be good. On the flies we have that use the thicker hackles, I believe that material is schlappen. We don't carry this anymore but can order it.

I hope this helps.
