I have the old superfine 2 wt in both the 6' model and the 7'9". The 6' is great for keeping the lines out of the trees and I really like it. Picked up the 7'9" because Orvis was running a sale (to make room for the trout bum models?) and like it a lot. Mainly use the shorter one at places like the North River and the longer one on tailwaters where the extra reach helps mending. On the tailwaters I am throwing sz 18 to 20 nymphs so even with the 2 wt I've been ok on the bigger water. Just need to stalk a bit closer.
