Talking Fished Gatlinburg 1-05-08

Fished Gatlinburg yesterday and could not get those stockers to hit anything except my indicator....so then I thought how about a dry fly with a close color to my indicator....well still no luck....I got out of the river about noon and went back to the car with numb feet that felt like cinder blocks that were stinging when they started to thaw out. Still had fun though.....O.K. gotta get some warmer weather in here.......

Hi my Husband and I are going to be in Gatlinburg in the middle of April and he is a former Marine Disabled Veteran, and we would love to meet up with you and fly fish some we are very new at this and have never fished the streams, or creeks, for Trout. we are mainly kayakfisherman and catch bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish, and have had a blast at tit but having the oppurtunity to fish the Smokies this April is going to be our greatest flyfishing adventure ever.
