I have a 5mp Gateway. It has been dunked a couple of times in the river and still takes pictures but the flash no longer works.
The next time I buy a camera, it will be the Optio that Plat. Angler uses. It takes incredible picts. and is waterproof, for us anglers who end up doing the occasional river dance!

I feel your pain about the "River Dance". Two cell phones, and a 5mp Pentax over the last couple of seasons....

Curiously, my wife's new 7.1mp Olympus seems to go missing each and everytime I mention a fishing trip...hmmmm
