Would I be corect in assuming that a measurement of 0.27" of rain means you got that stupid thing working??

I read the manual. You have to put the batteries in the rain collector first. You and I didn't know that. I went through every step. Still not working. I've been off all week except for writing the fishing report at the shop. I guess I'll still rely on the un-technage plastic rain gauge until we can figure this thing out. Thanks buddy.
