Default need a little help

last spring before the picnic I was fishing in the Tremont area and just before I left I noticed these little (size 16-1 insects flying around with an almost kinda sorta but not quite flourecent green body.....hmmmmmm, come to think of it, they were almost flourecent green.....anyways, what could this have been and is there a pattern for them. Below is a quick tied guess from my aging memory...........and no, I hadn't been drinking......

Heaven seems a little closer .........on a Smoky Mountain stream.......

Little Green Stoneflies maybe? I can't remember if I've ever seen these on the Middle Prong or not but they do exist in at least some park streams... The size and color is right...
