'Toon the Watauga w/ 1 Generator

So, I'm heading to the Watauga tomorrow and won't arrive probably until around 2:00. They just released the tentative schedule for release of 1 generator from noon-1 p.m. I read in my last post that it takes about 5 hours for the water to get to the "bend", which I am assuming is the Blevins Road. If I put in at Blevins Road at 2:00 or 3:00, will I be o.k. 'tooning the trophy section until dark or should I hold off?

If you're a competent oarsman, do it, it's a 1 hour burp, seriously, it depends on your experience.
