Trout Vacation Continued

Thanks, I should add also, that the pictures here are from the day after my spill in to the S. Holston. Since I was camping in national forest camp grounds I guess the spill substituted for a shower, which I badly needed anyway. LOL

I know how those "unscheduled" baths feel...took one last Spring at Tremont - only my el-cheapo camera didn't fare as well. It wheezed to life one last time, then passed on, and took a bunch of cool pictures with it. Well, I finally wised up and put down the money on a decent water-resistant camera.
The worst part about my fall was, it was the last place I was fishing, on the last day of my week-long trout bacchanalia last year, so I had to drive home from there soaked and a bit chilly.

Hans, those are great pictures. Did you fish the S. Holston the whole time or several of the upper E TN rivers? I had heard from several different folks that the fishing up that way has been outstanding and it looks like you had similar results. Sounds like a great way to spend a week. A bit of solitude and a bunch of great fishing. I'm envious!
