Can anyone on here provide a picture of split case nymph? I've been hearing a lot of about, but haven't seen one. I'd like to tie some up for sulphur hatches on the s. holston. If I could just see a picture, I think I could improvise enough to come up with something similar, but a recipe would be helpful too. I've searched the internet and can't find a picture of one anywhere.

MTD somewhere on the above link is a split case type nymph. Even if you can't find it, it is a great web site. My memory may not be right about it either. I have seen it with rafta. I have started using two small bits of krystal flash on the thorax of my soft hackles to simulate a split back. Have a great summer. Enjoy your posts. Sure Knots, Mike |

Check the South Holston River Fly Shop, Rod or Matt should be able to put you on some. I've purchase some in there before.
