Gary,

Thanks for the phone call. I called Davidson River Outfitters. I didn't bother Kevin but I talked to another fellow in the shop. The Davidson River in the National Forest was not involved. DRO has a lease on 3 miles of the Davidson below the shop. The first two miles of their private water is OK. The chemical spill and fish kill happened in the lower mile of their private water. He reported in the newspaper that the kill stretched for 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile.

Thats great that it was not any farther up and into the NF and I'm sure Kevin is happy not to lose all those monster fish in the whole private section.
