Default Lodging Near Caney Fork

I'm going to try the Caney for the first time. I'm going to bring my jet boat so I'll need a place to stay for a couple of nights where I can park my boat without having to worry about stuff going missing over night. Any reccommendations ?

Question

By lodging, I assume you are talking about a hotel. Is a campground out of the question? If possible, there is a very nice campground at the base of the dam with a boat ramp right there. When I stayed there last it was a little pricey ($25/night), but one of the nicer ones I have been to in a long time.

I'm not into camping much any more. I'd like to find a rental cabin near the Caney or if none is available, a motel will do.

Contact Joel or Janice at Caney Fork Outdoors in Silver Point, they have the only store there & cabins on the river.
I have the # at work if you can wait til Friday.
