Default caney fork 6-16

fantastic day on the caney today caught a bunch of fish.... i stopped counting..... mostly smaller fish 8-10 inch range mostly browns.... all came on a #20 brown zebra midge fished about 18in below an adams used as indicator......did manage 4 quality fish..... a rainbow and a brown both 12-14in,a brookie around 10in and finally my biggest brown on a fly measured in at about 16in...... a beautiful fish nice colors manged 3 other smaller brookies in the 6-8in range......ok so im hooked on the caney now.... a great way to start fishing now that im back in tn..... headed to the park tomorrow......either going elkmount or chimmeny tops undecided as of yet.... quick questions are the zebra midges the fly of choice on the caney or is it a time of year thing.... any input appreciated ...... also met plataue angler there sunday very nice young man.. seemed very knowledgeable... hope to hook up with him sometime and fish ..... tight lines and screaming reels

Midges are a stable food source year round on most tailwaters, keep them in several colors.
