I bought a new lens for my DSLR, and thought I would play around with depth of field. I wanted to have a very shallow depth of field, with the primary object of interest being what is in focus. I am looking forward to trying this technique with a fish. I would like to focus in on the eyes from the front, but have the back 3/4 of the fish be blurry. It just creates something new. The last two are of jars of blackberry jelly the wife and I made yesterday, just looked kind of cool sitting there cooling off. What do you guys think?
