I will be attending Tennessee Tech this upcoming fall and I am not familiar with the area and it's fisheries. I know the Caney is about 20-30 min away, as well as the reseviror, but they tend to get crowded when there is good weather on the weekends. So I was wondering if there was any thing else around the university warmwater or coldwater.
Thanks Travis

Travis, there are a lot of streams in the area that will be good for smallies, redeye bass, and other panfish... I'm not really as familiar with the Cookeville area but if you just explore a little I'm sure there's a lot of water... If you can find someone with a farmpond, that would be a great option as well. If you want someone to fish the Caney with sometime, give me a holler...

I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot of time at the Caney. I will definitely take you up on your offer. Thanks Travis
