Default Lights for tying

Was wondering what y'all used for lights when tying flies? I have seen quite a few marketed as fly tying lights with magnifiers but those are pretty expensive. Thanks

Craig, I use a task light with the magnifier that I picked up for $19.95 at Cxxxxx's. Works just a well as the ones much more expensive.

I use an architect style clamp in desk lamp. it was like $12 at an office supply store. I put a full spectrum compact flourescent bulb in there. just like tying outside in full daylight. you have to be careful with the full spectrum bulbs though if you're tying late at night. they trick your body into thinking it's daytime and you won't be able to go to sleep. here's a pic:

I have one very similar to Trevor's except it has the magnifyer which does come in handy. I picked it up at a craft store many years ago for not too much coin.

Default Lights

I have one simular in dedign to the one shown about but with a circular florecent light and a large magnifire in the middle. With shipping and handleing it cost me about 60$. I love it great light and magnification and the suronding light resulst in almost no shasows and that is great when I am tieing small flies.
