need quick help with cfs

With the warmer temps, I'm looking to hit the pigeon river tomorrow around newport and try out my new eight wt. I don't fish it often enough to know what cfs amounts are wadeable and which are not. I checked last night and it was running over 2,000. That seemed pretty high to me. I'm hoping someone on here can help me out before I take a shot in the dark around noon tomorrow and head that way.
