December One Fish per Month Challenge

OK, I struck out today in my attempt to get at least one good fish for the month so I'm going to have to stick with the one I got on December 18 in the West Prong of Little River. #16 Parachute Adams.

Would you believe that I have REALLY big hands? Me neither. Heck, it's not even in focus! But it's a fish and it's December so I'll go with it.

So far, 10 straight GSMNP trout. Next two months will be a challenge for sure. May have to come to Alabama to catch anything in January and February - or else learn the secrets of big winter browns in the park.

The next two months will be a challenge! I am hoping that the Elk will "give up" a fish for those two months for me. You should come to 'Bama when the white bass start running in the spring.....good times!

I honestly think I have forgotten how to post pictures. I haven't had time lately. I have still been fishing and had a good day on the lower SoHo on December 19th.
It seems like I never have a picture of myself with a fish. But, on this day I had a friend nearby...

18" Brown



This was actually 1 of several fish caught in the 18-24" range, but the only one with me holding a fish. Now I am ready to go for 2009.
