Default Never too old to learn a new trick

Check out Steve Yates tie in "the LittleRiver Journal". Step 6 has one of those Why Didn't I Think of Thats!!! He uses changing the order of tying in hackles to significantly change coloration of the hackle. Also, I seen a lot of discussions on various boards about Dries tipping forward, his method of hackling might be an answer for us!

I'm glad I did a double take on the fly construction, instead of just catching the recipe.
