Stripper Midge

Easy little midge to tie. Tied 3 of them and two were decent. Having a little trouble hiding the thread at the end when I do the final knot, but they still look decent. I think I have a new favorite over the zebra midge, as far as tying goes anyway. Don't know about fishing them yet.

Yep, cool looking little midge and easy to tie! I didn't think I would ever find anything easier to tie than a zebra midge, but I was wrong! (imagine that)

Add a drop of superglue just behind the head and when you tie off make a couple of wraps, then bend the herl stem back and tie off over it. It should only take 2 or 3 wraps and a 3 turn whip finish. On small flies like this you need to make every wrap count
