Default Caney

Anyone fishing the Caney tomorrow? I'm off the rest of the week, tying down my fishing schedule.

Probably be at Happy thru the pulse. If you're there, say hi. No crowds, right?

They just give the Caney as an example? I thought it was the definition...

Stonefly, I'll probably see you there...I've got to get a Caney fix soon or I might start having withdrawals...

Fished Happy Hollow last Friday. Lots of midge activity. They were not easy, but we took a few fish. Then the stock truck emptied out. Not sure catching is always fishing. Monk

David -

I'll look for you. Maybe I'd learn something.

Ran into David on the river today and did in fact learn something bout sight fishing to big fish eating in shallow water. Would think at least one of today's fish will be making a photo appearance...

Steve, it was nice meeting you and catching a few of those nice fish. Hope you were able to get a few more after I left...

Here's one of the fish I caught and thanks to Steve for taking the picture for me!

Nice fish you posted in the July 1 fish section Stonefly. Just how shallow was the water where they were feeding? That remark has got me curious.

Another good fish. Looks like you and Stonefly had a good day. I'm sure Byron will like the cap your are wearing.

Hey Silvercreek -

The best fish of the day all came from about 12-14" of water. Huge fun to see 'em take.

But for David, I'd have done my usual "wading where I should be fishing."
