Default Straight Fork RD

I am taking a backcountry trip tomorrow and was wondering about parking on the straight fork rd to hike into campsite 47. I have never been to this part of the park. I plan on fishing Raven and Straight fork while having base camp at 47. If not straight fork rd, what would be the best place to access this campsite from?

Thanks,
Aaron

AC,

You might want to read the fourth thread down titled "Enloe Creek Trail Advice". You might find it helpful.

as soon as you enter the park on straight fork...STOP...park and climb the knoll on the left....old cemetery, covered in moss, bad stones, and needed remounding....it's not where sequoyah is burried, but called the sequoyah cemetery....go another 3/4 mile on straight fork and see a very faint trace off to the left ... follow it to another cemetery on top of another taller hill...no fish, but places seldom seen
