Winston "Trophy Cups"

A long time ago I bought a used Winston 9' 5wt. IM6.
It is my favorite of all my rods.
A few inches above the cork their is some wraps with an emblem of a "trophy cup" on it with the Winston name.
Does anyone know the approx. years that Winston put this insignia on their rods?
