Default Road Prong

Haven't seen many reports from Road Prong this year. Anybody fish there recently? If so, how's it fishing?

I know you're not supposed to answer your own post but I decided to check out Road Prong for myself. And I wasn't disappointed. Fished from about 8:30 until 2:00 and the water was great, the fish were willing and the weather cooperated. Below are some pictures from the day - you'll have to excuse me, I never saw an ugly brookie and I get carried away taking pictures of them.

First one of the day, caught on a Royal Wulff.

The next few I caught on a Lowe's Yellow Mayfly Drake (found it in a tree)

Thought the coloring on this one was absolutely gorgeous.

Finished up the day with a yellow caddis - here's a couple of nice sized ones. Both were in the 8-9" range and the second one actually had some heft to it.

Ok, that's enough. Thanks for indulging my obsession with specs.

Beautiful fish. Little jewels that swim in the water. Sometimes it is nice to answer your own question.
