Default looking for info watauga float

Finally moved back to Elizabethton for my senior year, this time rigged up with my new creek co. pontoon. Me and a buddy are looking to float the trophy section of the watauga this coming sunday. Recently, thats been the only day they've presented anything close to a recreational release schedule. I've fished up and down the river and know what just about every section looks like except......the trophy section. How dangerous is this float on no generation? I don't mind picking up and walking my boat. I like fishing the riffles anyway. Also, where is the best takeout and how long does it take to float from "the bend" (twra access) to that takeout? My biggest concern is making sure the float is safe in a one man pontoon. I've floated sections of the little pigeon and the pigeon river near the waterville exit of I-40.
Any advice on this float is greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks,

Ben
