Default Park Fishing Permit

I have a friend who has never been fishing in the park before and has wanted to go for sometime now. He does not have a tennessee fishing license. What would be the cheapest route to fish in the mountains for the weekend. I know that there are 3 day permits that you can get. Anyone know where to buy and how much they are? Thanks a lot

Rockytop, on the home page of the Little River Outfitters under Fishing Info is all that you need regarding licenses.

Silvercreek and Sam have steered you right, but your friend might want to check on-line to compare N. C.'s license costs vs. those of Tennessee. I seem to recall the former is cheaper. Also, if he gets the Tenn. one, be sure he doesn't also buy the Tenn. trout stamp or permit. All he needs is the basic fishing license. Jim Casada
