Default To hot on the Holston

I saw mention a few days ago that the water is to warm to fish the Holston and could be harmful to the fish. Is that still holding true.

Default it's true

Canerod,
I did a trip yesterday that had been booked 3 months ago and rescheduled. I had fished just a few days earlier and the water was getting warm, but yesterday it had warmed to the point that fishing should be halted until early winter when the temperatures have dropped back to levels that aren't stressful to the fish. It's better to give it a rest.
Hugh

Yes it is true, and it will stay warm until this winter, and the warmest is sometimes still to come when the lake turns over in OCt/Nov. Best thing is for all of us to stay away for a few months for the sake of the fish.

Yes Randy I know that . I do not float so the S Ho has not been user friendly as of late. Last week it was ok and I had some of the best fishing ever. I have been looking at the nice water Mr. Hartsell posts , very pretty.
