Default calderwood

Fellow forum members I'd like to fish calderwood lake .please help with info. on boat launch [which is better drift vs john boat] any suggestions on fly patterns ,tactic?

john boat....you need to go upstream to near the dam...browns up there....fly's, not a clue, used spinners

Default Calderwood

There is a campground by the ramp. Take lots of clothing and a warm sleeping bag if you camp. It gets mighty cold up there next to that cold lake!

Take some streamers (on sinking lines if you have them) and large nymphs for sure. And, as much as I like a drifter, I would take a john boat. There are some pigs in there for sure.
