Default Soho late october hatches

Hey guys got a buddy from Charleston SC coming up mid to late Oct and we are gonna hit the SoHo for his first time ever, I fish it a bit but always buy a few flies when I get the rare chance to go, he wants to tie some for his trip. Any suggestions for patterns and flies? Thanks

Splitcase Nymphs are a must. Somewhat tricky to tie though.

Zebra Midges

Comparaduns. Pic listed from the local fly shop up there, I tie something similar to this. Like to fish them a little wet just under the surface.

This is a link to their hatch chart that has helped me since I started fishing up there.

There are a lot more people out there with more knowledge, and there is some local guides that are on this forum that really know whats going on. So maybe they can help you a little further.
