What type and size of streamer would I use in the park?

Big #6 beadhead or cone head brown , olive or black rubber leg wooly buggers.

Anything that looks like a sculpin is hard to beat. A Muddler Minnow, Zonkers, or Matukas are all good ones. Size 4-8 on long shank hooks are fine.

Man I live for streamers if the water is up and off color I do not hesitate to throw 2/0 to 3/0 Zoo cougers or whatever go with one you have confidence in and stick to it. I went out one day and only caught one fish after 4 or 5 hours but that fish was about 2 feet long. I had many swirls and blow ups this is not failure your just getting address' for the next time or heck wait a couple of hours and try a different method. It may not be the fly but the pace @which you fish it or at least try a different angle on the approach.
