Default Leaves

I read Daniel's fishing report in which he advised precaution on leaves. I'd like to add another. Watch out for leaves that accumulate in the eddies of deep pools with steep banks. It may look like you are stepping onto solid bottom only to find out the accumulated leaves are hiding that steep slope. I got into this once in hip boots and found myself going into deep water. With the heavy flows being reported, leaves will probably not be able to accumulate, but be sure you know what you are stepping into.

Excellent point!
I think a wading staff is good to use during these conditions in big waters.
