we floated the caney today from the dam to happy hollow..... threw everything at them midges, soft hackles, buggers, and streamers total for the day was one fish each .....no surface activity to speak of..... saw less than a dozen fish rise all day.....water clarity was ok.... no generation from 11-5..... slucing 250 all day.... talked the few other fisherman we saw and same story ....very few fish caught......we are going to try again tomorrow if the rain they are calling for dosen't come.....

I waded at Betty's on Saturday, threw the same flies and had the same results. I had one come up to hit my indicator and briefly had another on a midge. Other than that, nothing over the coarse of a few hours. While I'm not a huge fan of getting skunked, it was nice to finally get a chance to be back out on the Caney.
