Does the $20 trophy section license good for a year from the time you purchase it or is it from a certain set date range or calendar year?

Its good for 12 months from the day you buy it...just like the normal NC license.

GREAT fish. We were over there a couple weeks ago and did ok..not as many as you had there, but not bad by any stretch. those fish will wear you out...and just b/c you have 3x doesn't mean you don't need to get them on the reel. They know how to use that current and are tough to muscle around.

Never could get a dang gold one to bite. got some chases, but no takes. just wanted to see one up close.

They do wear you out. My right hand is sore today. I had several try to run me out the bottom of a hole in to some ugly rapids that I did not want to get in, so it was muscle em and chance it or let em break me in the rapids.
