New year fly swaps

One quick question. What information do we need to put on the "toe tags"? I assume name of particular fly and who tied it...I am leaving anything out? Just checking, this is my first fly swap.

Sorry so late in responding...
The usual info on toe tags are the hook size, name of the fly, and the tiers name. But as long as the name of the fly and the tier is on them , its fine. Then just attach one to each fly your sending. Be sure to put them in a crush proof box. Your selection will be shipped back in it.

Gary- I haven't forgotten about the swap and I should be done soon. I will drop them off at your work when complete. It's amazing that I can have all this free time and then as soon as I commit something (fly swap) my time is eaten up.

no hurry, I'm still tying mine also. hard to get the fingers back to tying little dry flies after tying bass streamers and poppers for so long.
The flies aren't due until Feb 1st.

I am putting on the toe tags tonight and should have them in the mail tomorrow afternoon. Like I mentioned before, I am new to the "swap"...what is the preferred method for the return postage?

You can either put a couple of $1 stamps or have the PO weigh and stamp postage on a self addresed return bubble lined envelope inside of the envelope you ship the flies in or...
Put a couple dollars cash for postage and a return address and I will get an envelope to ship them back to you.

KYTroutbum, I received a very nice box of flies from you today also.

I think you guys wil be very happy with the flies you'll be getting back!

Troutman - I will mail them out tomorrow. I am pretty pleased with my nymphs. The stimulators were the first that I have attempted and I hope they are to everyone's satisfaction.

Grouseman77, I received a great tube of flies from you yesterday.

FlyfishJeep just dropped all his flies off to me and they are great also.

I will be seperating and getting them packaged up for mailing out on Monday. Lots of great fly tiers in this swap!

I am without my camera at this time so if one of you want to take pictures of the flies and post them, feel free.
