I hit Little River for about 4 hours....landed 2 fish from the same hole........not another bite. One 4 inch bow and one 11 inch bow. Here is the 11. Caught it on a tungsten head hairy prince nymph.

nice fish!
I wonder if it's got dauchsund in it's family somewhere? I noticed a brown in another post had a similar appearance. Some fish look really long compared to others (especially stockers). Or is it that stockers are just fat? |

Nice 'bow - I love the white tipped fins. Any hatches to speak of, there were sporatic gordons and quills this past weekend, so they should be about to pop....Not familiar with a hairy prince - your own tie?
Congrats!

I didn't see mush besides little black stone flies. I actually found the fly pattern on the Orvis website and started tying it. Same as normal prince, except dubbed instead of using peacock herl.
