I believe things will even out at work in a few weeks, which would coincide nicely with the water temps coming up to near wet-wading temps. I need to start playing hooky in early April. Keep me in mind and I'll let you know when I can make it. I look forward to it. I've enjoyed fishing with everyone I've met through the board...

Well Owl the hare's ear didn't work. Finally caught a rainbow on a tiny blue wing olive that I could hardly see in pools and couldn't see at all in runs. I fished Tremont hoping for slower water but the flow was strong and seemed to get stronger through the day.
Saw many more bugs than yesterday but trout didn't go after them. |

Now this is what I'm talking about! Less talk of guns and tanks and otters and such and people getting out fishing. Spring has sprung for sure.
![]() Pete, I played hooky on Monday and fished Middle Prong. It felt soooo good. Try it, you'll like it.

Barbara,
If the Quill Gordons are hatching, you may want to consider trying a Quill Gordon wet fly, they sometimes hit the emergers more than the adults on the surface. Neal |
