I haven't been able get on line until yesterday, but I wanted to let everyone what it's like here. I just left a fellow mtff club members home that was involved in the flood. Byron he lives on Morton Mill road. The damage that has been done is unimaginable. In this one area i would guess 200-250 home have been flooded out. The flood waste is 8-10' high in the front yards. Most of these were not even in the 100 yr flood plane. Gaintfish and I helped about 4hrs today.
Please keep Tony in your prayers, he just retired and now has this to deal with. I removed the drywall today and black mold has already set in. |

Hi Vern,
I got online just now to get an update. I know it is really bad. One person I know lost his home. I don't think many people are insured. The stories about people losing their lives really hurts me. This tragedy has been grossly under-reported in the National media. Though I have not lived there in several years, many of my friends still do. And, it's not just Nashville. There were many other towns and farms that were affected. It's awful. I hope FEMA does their job well. Byron
