White Top Laurel Creek on VA Creeper Trail

A buddy and I fished Whitetop Laurel Creek along the VA Creeper Trail by mountain bike 2 weeks ago. That is a hellaciously lovely stream and, thanks to a well-timed article in Fly Fisherman mag the month before, we rigged "Piru Creek" devices to the sides of the bikes that worked like a charm when biking between holes. It was a great day on the water, and I got to combine two of my favorite passions in one killer day.
