murphy nc
i will be working in murphy nc wed and thur of next week......is there any good trout fishing near there....or other rivers that i might check out for smallmouth ...... will have about 3 hours of daylight from when i get done working to fish... does nc. have a one day tourist license....any help will be appreciated.. thaxs in advance...

Head East from Murphy on Hwy 64 to Fires Creek Recreational Area. Should take you 20 or 30 minutes to get there. You'll need a 10 day non-resident license ($10) plus a trout stamp (another $10). NC doesn't have a one day license.
