smallies at troutfest?

Byron, since your becoming more interested in warm water fly fishing lately, have you thought about inviting Mr. Smallmouth himself ,Tim Holshlag ,to come to Troutfest and maybe do a seminar?
He was here a few years ago and we were supposed to go fishing together but unfortionately I was out of town that week. He has authored several books on smallmouth fishing both fly and spin. His newest book on river fishing for smallies has one of my photos of a little river smallie with my kayak in the background included. Would be a nice addition to the crew of special guest anglers already coming.

I sent Tim an e-mail a few minutes ago. So, we'll wait and see what happens. Gary, since you have had contact with him in the past, it would help if you could get involved. I don't know him personally, only by reputation. If you could call or write him that would help a lot.

I got a response from Tim. He is thinking about coming and he doesn't see any time conflicts yet. If he comes somebody needs to take him fishing. That is PRIME smallmouth fishing time as you guys well know. I might be able to get him on a lake.
