Great pics. My dad and I used to quail hunt. Hardly any birds around anymore. There sure is something about the smell of freshly killed birds and gun powder. We hunted a pointer and setter combo. One would hunt close and the other seemed to cover more territory.

NoHackle - It is a real shame that the wild quail population has dried up to about nothing. Dang developers.
