Stay on your soapbox! What they did was dangerous. Their headgear is not for show. Having been to Cataloochie at various times of the year I always seem to see rangers and volunteers during the warmer months patroling. After the campground closes I don't see them anymore. I guess this has something to do with budget and staff cutbacks during the off season. Unfortunately I suppose we have to live with this, at least for now.

Rutting bulls can be a hazard to your health. There was a show in TV a while back where a western town had a "plague" of rutting bull elk in the local park. Dangerous, to say the least.
