Default The River

12X12 Oil on Canvas. Not finished, but thought I would share. Weird shadows coming out of the deeper part of this river valley gave a strong juxtaposition from the riffle water you see further up the mountain. Weird, but I painted what I saw;

Great painting! Always paint what you see, even if it is not what you see.

Have you ever tried finger painting some of your scenes. It can make them look more abstract; but, I like the free-feeling effect.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks! Yeah, I have experimented with it but haven't tried finger painting in a while. Still finding my painting legs.

Thumbs up Good Job!

Excellent Job BlueRaiderFan! Do not forget to sign it. If you give one as a gift. Always write a special message on the back to the receiver. Also, I think you should title your picture or give it a name-explaining your interpretation I am not art expert; but, I enjoy these things in paintings and I always cherish paintings from friends.

Keep up the good work bud! I am sure that is a great release and a wonderful relaxation method. I have always wanted to try it...
