Default Realistic Fly Tying

Hey guys,

With the snow and cold we've been experiencing, I've been in full fly tying mode. I'm sure a lot of you guys are doing the same. Not much fishing right now!

This winter I've been doing a lot of realistic fly tying. It's highly addictive and it's a ton of fun. I don't fish them, but enjoy the tying process and the outcomes.

So, here's a few of the most recent patterns I've cranked out.

Tyler, that is the most realistic golden stonefly I have ever seen. The bottom view is amazing. Well done!

The golden stone nymph is my favorite for browns in the park. Have caught some really nice size browns around twenty inches with them. The browns always seem to really hit them hard.

Do you tie the golden stone nymphs? If so, where can I view them?

Whitefeather- I haven't tied any Golden Stone Nymphs yet, but hope to do so soon!
