Question Tuckaseegee DH Put In/Take Out

My Dad and I are planning on trying to drift the Tuck DH a few times this winter/spring. I have been trying to find where people launch their boats and take them out. We have Hyde Pro Series Low Profile drift boat. Do hard bottom boats do OK on the Tuck? Also, do most people drift during low water or on generation? One last question, I know where to find generation schedules, but what water level would be reccomended in order to drift it? We have been able to drift the lower stretches for smallmouth, but I am not sure how the DH section compares. Thanks for any information!

Default float trip

You might contact Jason Cole at Hookers Fly shop in Sylva. I'm sure he could give you some info on the Tuck. I think he guides trips there as well... Sorry I can't be any more help.............Bob

Floats best with both generators running. Not many people float it in a hard bottomed boat more than once
